After A Break Up Avoid Being Lonely

One of the worst things that can happen after a break up is being lonely. A break up alone is bad enough but then sitting at home all by yourself to think about it is worse.

I am going to give you some advice which will hopefully help you to avoid this lonely stage. The first thing to remember is that being around lots of people will open your eyes a bit more and take your mind off your ex.

When you are in a relationship, you will probably not see your friends as much as your efforts will be concentrated on your partner. So you have to contact these old friends and make amends with them to get them back on your side.

The more time you can spend with them the better. Even if it feels a bit awkward at first due to not seeing them for a while, just stick with it. If you were still in contact with your friends while you were in a relationship then seeing them obviously won\’t be too much of a problem.

It is also good to spend time with family at this point. Turn to you siblings and spend some time with them. There are always your parents too if all else fails.

There is also the idea of joining up to a local gym. Doing this will give your appearance a boost in time for when you next see your ex.

Losing some weight or getting fit will boost your self confidence no end. All the time spent socialising with friends as well as going to the gym regularly will ensure that your time is filled and your mind is kept well away from your ex.

If you do not fill your time well and you are alone too much it will be easy to resort to desperate measures in an attempt to get your ex back. Harassing them with phone calls and texts are some of the things you may end up doing, but filling your time with fun things will help prevent this.
